Fosto Oy continues the lighting manufacturing of Stockmann-Orno from Kerava (later Thorn-Orno) and Sanka from Lovisa, justified by business transactions. In 1998, the manufacturing of lamps was transferred to Keraplast and in 2022 to Fosto. The arrival of acrylic in lighting in the 1950s and 1960s marked a new era in interior design. The lamps' timeless shapes and sophisticated light brought a new look to homes and public spaces. Using the same traditional manufacturing technology, Fosto Oy manufactures genuine ORNO lamps for the joy of retro fans while respecting the spirit of the old masters.
